Seed Savers Installation at Fond du Lac!

Community growers stories captured in new art installation Fond du Lac’s beautiful Gigitaaning has a new art installation! New Mural at Springboard!

On a steamy 98 degree day, over 24 volunteers, 4 youth hired artists, and Heart Berry’s Giizh Agaton Howes created the Mazini-Miikana (Painted Trail) a large scale mural on the Spingboard for the Arts building in St Paul.  Colorfully painted with trillium, berries, our beloved wild rice, oak leaves, and the vine that connects all covers the entrance to this dynamic artist hub. “Celebrating our beautiful foods and art with this outpouring of support really shows how powerful our art is.  Community, art, and entrepreneurship, is the heart of what Heart Berry is about” Giizh, Heart Berry Following the collaboration with Holly Young (Standing Rock) wrapping the whole building with a stunning art installation of Dakota and Ojibwe women sharing...

Record sales lead to $8000 donation!

Heart Berry x Supporters of Minnesota United FC’s three largest Supporter Groups announced today their continued support for Wakan Tipi Awaŋyaŋkapi with an $8000 donation. Wakan Tipi Awaŋyaŋkapi is a Dakota nonprofit which seeks to engage people to honor and care for our natural places and the sacred sites and cultural value within them by focusing on urban conservation and restoration, cultural connections and healing, and environmental education.

Custom Blanket for Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe

Sometimes we get a chance to shine a light on gathering.  Whether we are gathering our education, our degrees, our family around us, or harvesting manoomin we are gathering.  This new blanket shares Ogaabewis' stories about her community as a gift to graduates.  We are so proud to create these blankets with our amazing partners Eighth Generation.    The blankets arrive!
